Retrieves probable patient identity links from the CommonWell network using a local patient identifier or patient demographics. The MPI uses probabilistic algorithms to identify potential matches that fall within a configured score threshold but do not meet the criteria for automatic linking. Unlike confirmed patient links, the patient does not need to be registered with CommonWell for probable matches to be returned. The results (returned at LOLA level 1) represent unconfirmed cross-organizational matches that require manual review and linking before document query/retrieval can be performed against those records.
